Volunteer as a Telephone Befriender

Volunteers play an important and invaluable role here at the Abbey Community Centre. It is a great way to get involved in the community, develop lots of new skills and to meet like minded people.
We have a great variety of volunteer roles from receptionist, IT support, helping with activities such as arts and crafts, befriending people in their homes, helping in our creche or children’s drop ins to gardening and cooking to name but a few! If you are interested in finding out more, check out our volunteering booklet.
